You'll past Malay kampung & masjid in the middle of bendangs. When you reach a T junction, take right, immediately (10-15meters) you'll see a Malay house converted to the mee udang place. It's open for both lunch & dinner. Kedai tutup hari Khamis. The kerang bakar is also good. So kesian. I think you must kempunan the mee udang like mad. athene - Yakah? I agree service is not great 'cos the bapa is retire and left to the son to cook. The rest of the makciks blur sikit. But the taste is different from the other copycats lah. Very flavourful. Kuala Juru - tak pernah. Ada directions? boo - the prawns are fresh, really dilla – Hi! So kesian. I've been to this place since I was little!! the best mee udang ever in the world!!! After moving to Terengganu and been studying all over Malaysia, this is the 'wajib' place to singgah whenever I went to Penang.... and now, being in Newcastle, I missed Salwa Mee Udang so much as if I am rich, I will fly thousand of miles just to get to Teluk kumbaq for this mee udang... nyum..nyum... OH MY GOD!!!! I’ve been to this place since I was little!! the best mee udang ever in the world!!!
