Is this a hibiscus?
I found this purple flower somewhere in Balik Pulau. It is just a single plant, standing there all alone. It looks very much like a hibiscus plant. We had to study hibiscus plant from Standard One till Form Five (roll eyes) and hence, know what hibiscus plant looks like.
However, the flower doesn’t quite look like the open petal with a long stamen hanging out kinda hibiscus. Not satisfied, I gently peel into the inner part of the flower to see if indeed it is a hibiscus.
Satisfied. It is indeed a purple hibiscus. The very first time I see a purple colour one.
Ignore my ramblings on a single purple flower. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed, waiting with bated breath to get a super compact, super terrific, super new camera. The camera has super macro, even much more fantastic than my current model. Wish me luck!

wah… mana jumpa? I used to have this purple hibiscus at home, got it from Kelantan. When we moved we forgot to take a cutting & the plant at the friend’s house in Kelantan has died since… Would really love to have it again…
Athene – Ada kat Maktab (or sekolah?) in Balik Pulau. Cuma satu pokok aje. And that also we stumbled into the wrong complex. We were searching for the Kompleks Sukan, went into the wrong building and found this.
wuching – Hahaha, I am ONLY contemplating getting a compact one. So kick ass la. Lumix FX8. But found Finepix S9500 equally attractive so cannot decide.
