"To make sure your eggs are fresh, put raw egg in a glass of water. If it lays on the bottom, it’s fresh. If it is on the bottom, but the small end is up, it’s still fine. If it is floating in the middle, but not on top, it should be safe, but not very fresh. If it floats, throw it away, it’s a rotten egg."

your way wastes an egg lilian.

crack an egg onto a plate....... the higher the yoke and white stands up the fresher the egg....... fresh eggs fry best as they don't run flat and spread around. :o)

STP - LOL, you should drool at my other blog. That one even more sinful! Glad you like the food. I passed the situapui's high standard of food quality!

wuching - Hey, thanks for asking. I used the balance to put into my kiam chye boay.

blogie - Wow, deep fried like french fries? Can't afford it la, cos it is quite expensive. A small one cost about RM2. But stir fry sounds good though.

boo - You know what? I never notice there are yellow ones. Am going to Cold Storage and check it out. Over here, we have only one single 'up market' supermarket. The rests sell kangkong and timun only. LOL.

foodcrazee - Never heard of Lam Choy, must go check it out. Wonder how it tastes.

Hi! This is my 1st visit. My! Your pix are SO beautiful, and all the food so mouthwatering! Am salivating even though I just had my tea break of "Foochow fried noodles" and mu usual Kopi-O Peng (Iced black coffee). They say fat people will grow fat from just looking at food;stimulates some hormones in them. That's why I shouldn't drop by too often! Bad for my shape and size!
