Recipe : Grilled cheese sandwich

I am almost embarassed to call this a recipe! It is so easy even my 10 years old kid can whip up his own grilled cheese sandwich. Actually, I wanted to make this recipe for my parenting blog but the photos turned out so yummy I decided to post it here and also on the parenting blog.

Oozing cheddar with two slices of crispy yet soft in the middle bread.

Perfect golden brown. Looks just like those served by swanky coffee joints, isn’t it? But no…this is mere bread, butter and cheese on an old non-stick pan job.

Recipe (dare I call it recipe?)

Grilled cheese sandwich

Two thick slices of bread, butter them on BOTH sides

1 slice cheddar cheese

A non-stick pan

Put buttered bread into pan and wait till it browns a bit.

Turn over and put the cheese on the browned surface.

Sandwich the two slices of bread of the cheese in the middle.

Continue to brown the sides of the bread, on each side. Allow ample time for the cheese to melt a bit. Turn down fire if the bread browns too fast.

Serve. Yummy!
