Pop a cherry

[tag]Cherry[/tag] is one of those little luxuries for us here who are in the tropics. It is usually sold in small quantities as it is rather expensive. 200 grams go for RM7-RM10. So, we don’t buy them by the pounds.

We get our cherries which are imported from the USA. I wonder why other countries did not export their cherries here? I love cherry, much more than strawberry. I remember have lots of them when I was in Europe where we bought by the pounds and packed in brown paper bags.

Cherry is a nice subject for photography, isn’t it? If only I can find really fresh, really red cherries… And wish I can see cherry trees in full blossom someday…
Caution : Parents with small children, be careful of fruits with small stones like cherries.

I normally buy them from the fruit stall. Cost me about RM40/kg. Folks who love cherry – try used it to make your own jam. Fantastic and also healthy. If I buy them, I normally used it to make my own jam coz my mum love it very much. Pure cherry jam. He he he…….
