Temporarily out of order :) due to haze

I have been eating nothing but soups, koay teow th’ng and porridges these last few days. My cough has lasted almost two weeks. I thought it is getting better but it is still persistent and it feels like a new bout of sorethroat and cough again! Urggh….those coughing gives me a headache.
The last few days I have been enjoying some very wholesome meals of fish soup with lots of enoki and baoling mushrooms, yoghurt with oats bran and cereals and drank plenty of home brewed loh han guo, chrysanthemum tea and also hawthorn berries with green apples.

Therefore, with a half functioning tastebuds, I had been doing nothing but napping (due to the drowsiness caused by the Western medicines). Until I get my appetite back 100%, posts will come in real slow.

Till then! Take care, drink lots of water, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and hope no one get sick with the hazy weather we are experiencing. Where is the rain when we need it!

wish u a full recovery soon. it doesn’t hurt to have a bite of your fav snack to pamper yourself during this ‘recovery’ period. if u hv a sore throat, try drinking this sure-work concoction which clears your throat: juice squeezed 1 whole lemon + 1tbsp sugar + 1tsp salt + 1 cup warm water. if necessary, drink this concoction twice a day.

Take care Lilian and hope you get well soon. I am worried about the haze. Hubby and I will be going back to KL on Thursday. Hopefully it won’t be as bad. Worried he might get sick.
