Few days ago, I decided to cook some lavish pasta instead of the usual carbonara sauce or alio oglio that I usually do. I bought some sun dried tomatoes and want to give my pasta that ‘expensive’ taste.
So, I got myself some salmon, prawns, yellow capsicum, one fresh tomatoes, chopped onions and garlic plus some herbs. I heat the oil with some butter and olive oil and stir fry the onion and garlic.
Then, I add in the prawns, herbs, fresh tomatoes and dried tomatoes to simmer for a while with some water. Meantime, boil the pasta according to instructions. When the pasta is ready, drain and pour in the gravy. Give a few dashes of brandy, crumble some blue cheese and add in the salmon. Salmon cooks very fast so I don’t boil them with the prawns. Flavour with salt and black pepper.

I serve the pasta with some freshly grated parmesan cheese and it taste just exquisite. Not the ordinary restaurant’s stuffs but five star restaurants’ expensive taste.
