McDonald’s Prosperity Burger & curly fries
This is one item from McDonald that I look forward to each year. The prosperity burger set which comes with a black pepper sauce burger, curly fries and some fizzy orange drink.
My son brought a Muslim friend back today and since, I don’t offer lunch to Muslim chldren who come to my house, we decided to call McDonald home delivery. It is actually the first time we have McDonald delivered to us. The number is 1-300-13-1300. Hehehe, actually one of my son can sing that annoying number like McDonald’s jingle so that’s how we remember the toll free number.
The black pepper sauce dribbled out of the burger. Love it ‘cos it is hot and full of oomph.
Crunchy raw onions that will leave your mouth stinking for the whole day. So, beware. Don’t order this on your first date or first interview. You will have a foul mouth.
The curly fries is part of the set. Compared to the curly fries from A&W, I must say McD’s curly fries is better. Crispier and tastier.
An apple pie for dessert. Of course, I did not eat all of the above. Only a bite here and there. The burger is very filling, you know?
And yeah, just to explain. I normally don’t serve anything that I cooked from my kitchen to Muslim children because I am very sure they are not halal. If there are several of them, what I do is offer them biscuits while I give the other Chinese/Indian children something to eat that I cooked. I used to have lots of school kids hanging around my house after school because my house is next to their school. Right now, they have gone to secondary school so less visits. Otherwise, each Friday will see me supplying plenty of eats to the kids.

I never missed prosperity burger when I was in Malaysia. Memang dinanti2kan. But for the past 1 year and this year, I would have to forgo this yummylicious burger. Wish they have it here in Perth too.

you know what…i absolutely love the prosperity burger. i remember eating as much of it as i could as it only came out once a year. god it was so heavenly and i wish i could have one right now. sadly, they don’t have it in here (doing Masters in the UK now)…so sob sob for me. anyway, i have stopped eating at McD’s for political reasons. guess i will have to be happy with just drooling at the pictures!!!
These will be great for lunch especially if time is a factor. My husband is lamenting over increasing weight and expensive lunch lately so I wonder if you can post some (the more the better actually) practical and esay to prepare lunch to pack for lunch. Thanks ya
