My recommendations from Cooking Island

Someone asked me to recommend a few stuffs that they can order online from Cooking Island. Since it is going to be an online purchase, then, I will find things that are not perishable.

Here are my five favourites :

1) Cream cracker pre-mix - Any idiots can bake now. No oven involved, no mixer need.

2) Orange poppy seeds muffin mix - Impress people with your baking skill using this.

3) Pizza font - Get this versatile, powdered form of pizza sauce. Just add water and you are on your way to many wonderful dishes like pizza, pasta and sauces.

4) Banana Cake Premix - Another successful baking adventure

5) All the special bread flour, healthy, good and not available from stores elsewhere

Thanks a lot for you introduction to Cooking Island. I visited their shop on two occasions and since Erina’s Mum stays in Kulim they are back on most weekends, and are able to deliver items to me. Erina & Lawrence are very helpful.

Have tried their Cream Cracker Premix, Blue Berry Muffin Mix, Banana Cake Premix ad Surabaya Cake Premix (with Apricot Puree & Cheese Cake recipes) and found all delicious. Will be trying their Orange Poppyseed & Kiwi Muffin Premixes soon. (Beth)

If you are in Penang, go try out their Hainanese Kaya. Lawrence passed me a bottle the other day and we walloped it on the spot! It is that nice. We slathered this thick, creamy, fragrant kaya on cream crackers. Heh, being Hainanese, I love anything Hainanese.
