Jamie Oliver’s suggested menu for Easter

First of all, apologies for the long downtime experienced by this site. I was moving server and hence, the site was down for two days.

So, yeah, Easter is this Sunday and usually, Easter is more joyous and meaningful than Christmas. BTW, I have completed 40 days of vegetarian fasting and according to my church site, the Lent season ends this evening before the Lord’s Supper. So, I had gone back to my normal eating. Pheww….char koay teow and prawns have never tasted so good. However, tomorrow is a day of fasting which means I can only pig out from Saturday onwards.

Therefore, I went to the supermarket just now to get some lamb and rosemary. However, after picking up those vegetables and meats, I realised that I will not have time to do any decent cooking on Easter morning because I have choir presentation in the morning.

So, my dear hubby suggested we eat out instead of cooking at home.

I love this time of year – loads of new stuff springing up in my garden and I’ll soon be foraging around to see what I can cook up.
