The art of cooking is resurrected

I am not sure if you guys notice that recent years, cooking is no longer something that your mom did because she needs to feed you. Instead, it is now something celebrities indulge in. They make it glamourous. The singers did it, the royalty did it, the multi-millionaires did it and the actors and actresses did it. With TV zooming in on them, all dressed to the nines and in their spanking sparkling kitchen, with those tiny saucers for every kind of salt, sugar, pepper and sauces.

So, right now, in this decade, if you want to be cool, you gotta know how to cook. If you want to woo your hot date, whether you are male, female, gay or lesbian, you gotta cook to impress your date. It is that easy. Go to the kitchen, dish out something and voila! You are special!

  1. i like cooking but most of the time i will be too lazy to cook anything after a full 8 hours work that requires loads of brain work.
    living and working abroad does not make it any easier though.
    btw, i will be having my 1st baby soon (end of September 2007) any good food tips for my confiment month??
