Stir fried baby french beans

Lately, baby french beans are like the ‘in’ thing to order. It is really nice and crunch and we do not have to deal with the hassle of unstringing the older beans. You can just wash and fry but I did break them into smaller parts.

The photo is not that attractive because I was busy with my roasted duck and has no time for any proper pic as everyone is waiting to dig into that duck.

What I did was to stir fry the beans with some oil and smashed garlic. I normally keep a batch of the dried sole, which has been deep fried and pounded. Just sprinkle some on plain vege and it will make them taste good already.

Do try baby french beans when you have a chance. I really love the crunch and sweetness of these baby beans.

*I can’t seem to find a photo of the dried sole I mentioned. Will post pic when I get my next batch from the Chinese dried seafood shop*
