My children have huge appetite. There is always someone who is feeling hungry and I normally stock as much food as our fridge can keep.
Bread, pasta sauce, meats, soups, instant noodles, eggs and other quick prepare stuffs are very handy for teens like them. Last night, they came up with this sandwich :
Two slicesÂ of bread, spread with mayo and mustard, cheese, ham, green salad with balsamic vinegar and potato chips to give the extra crunch. The darkish sauce is the balsamic vinegar which makes a very good salad dressing.
Many parents lamented about their little children refusing vegetables. I can tell them, Don’t worry, when they reach their teens, they will eat more vege than you. It is a no-win battle to get a child to take vegetable if they just hate it. But when they are older, they naturally asked for vege for every meals.
As for hubby and I, we prefer local stuffs. Give me a packet of economy bee hoon anytime.
