Chinese New Year is here when McDonald’s sells Prosperity Burger
You can smell Chinese New Year in the air. All the supermarkets and shops are ‘dong-dong-chiang’ already and it is only one month and a few days away from Chinese New Year. I must make mental notes to go to the regular Cantonese stores to see if the imported Chinese lapcheong and waxed ducks have landed.
Prosperity Burger is back. One of my favourite because I like the black pepper and beef burger which is available only once a year. This year, the set comes with the usual curly fries and jasmine green tea. My photos are taken with my Sony Ericsson P1i so it looks so-so only.
They also have these alphabets bears that come with the McDonald’s Happy Meal. I am going to get the pink/purple letter X.
Have you tried this Chinese New Year edition of red bean sunday McFlurry? I don’t like the icecream but love the red beans. It is much nicer than the previous Shrek green beans. Oh, lucky my kids like the icecream, so I fed them the icecream and I ate the red beans. **Personal question to personal friend : Weii…..got sell only red beans ah? Ask your BIL to send me a tub lah.
