Good photos do not equal good foods

The other day when we were in Seberang Prai City shopping mall in Bandar Perda, I had to queue for the Big Apple Donuts. Since everyone is hungry and they cannot wait for me get the donuts, they decided to go ahead and grab a place at some joint call Black Canyon coffee.

That’s my Mexican coffee in a boot. The kid loves the boot so I ordered the coffee just to take a picture of it.

vienna coffee

Since it is suppose to be a coffee joint, we ordered another coffee call Vienna coffee. Actually, all the coffee taste almost the same to me. But the Vienna coffee is served with a cinnamon stick, sugar and a tiny glass of jasmine tea.

Some icecream (which is King’s because they are putting King’s sponsored balloon around).

Lately, there are far too many new eating places sprouting up. It is very hard to venture into this now because of the competition. Sometimes, the place has nice decor, nice food presentation but so-so foods.

The above is some fish my hubby ordered. I am puzzled with the lame looking vege served on the side. It is neither Thai nor local. They made a nice effort with the squarish shape rice though.

I ordered a Pad Thai as I believe no matter how bland, a pad thai will still be edible. So, the taste is ok lah….

All the above photos were taken with my Nikon D40 kit lens and I must say it is pretty nice. I use only the P mode because if I choose Macro setting, the flash will pop up.

This is my first encounter with this blog. I must say, that this blog is good. I like it- especially the part when u posted using malay language. Your BM is good indeed(I know my comment about that post is obsolete by now). But then again, the best part is always the review of the food. Keep on posting and thank you for all the info. \(^+^)
