Anyone bought a green pan before?

For the longest time, I have been wanting to buy the green pan advertised on AFC. Right now, I am using the Tefal type of pan and the coating came off rather easily. After reading about all the horror stories of it being cancer causing and etc, I tried a stainless steel pan. That didn’t work because my food sticks to the pan. Then, I tried the cast iron wok but it was terribly heavy and fish and egg still sticks to the wok.

The green pan seems promising but I hate the task of filling in the form and paying by credit card. I would rather pay by Paypal. So, I was lurking around and see if I can find any other sites selling the green pan without getting from AFC. The cheap price of the green pan also makes me wonder if it really works. Two go for only S$69 and it seems too good to be true.

I was eyeing a Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel Chef’s Pan with Lid Non-Stick, 20 cm on Amazon but they don’t ship here. There are lots of other brands of non-stick pan but I hate the fact that they are only limited to the UK and US. In fact, this shopping site call sells everything from Lingerie to every imaginable stuffs we need. How nice if we have some similar shopping site nearer so that I don’t need to rely only on Tefal and worry about cancer.

I had googled for the green pan but seems that I cannot find any food bloggers whom had bought and used it.

    I wan the green pan too! Never heard of it.I have tried cast iron, stainless steel and the what-nots and they always stick.

    So I end up buying the teflon coated type and even though I am careful in using and washing them, after a few months I have to buy replacements.

    So Lilian do keep me updated! Maybe its cheaper to buy in bulk. Save on shipping cost?

    I have two, a 12″ fry pan and the chef’s pan. I hate them.

    I have always used stainless, but wanted to try non-stick. These pans are supposed to be non-stick, but while they clean up well, food sticks like crazy to them! Can’t even fry a piece of fish.

    I have found good non-stick cookware since getting these: Circulon Infinite series.

    :O really its can cause cancer..uhh scary tho..luckly i read it here..thankie..yeah the green pan price consider cheep but i hv to reconsider the price after plus the shipping cost..and again hv to re-reconsider after read the review..ehehe

    Check it out here. I saw them demonstrate on HSN tv. and looks so much good promising. Todd English may look good but I dont know about his cookware.

    you may already have tried this, but i’ve seasoned my cast-iron wok (literally burning cooking oil in to the surface) and absolutely nothing sticks to it. smoky wo(r)k tho! and i don’t hold with nonstick pans, they don’t get hot enough 😀
