Trick or treat Halloween candies
Over here, not many of the supermarkets carry Halloween sweets and chocolates. They are rather expensive and normally, only the expatriates and the rich families can afford them. So, if we want any special, imported chocolates, the only place is Cold Storage. I hardly shop at Cold Storage because their products are way expensive than Tesco. Sometimes, is not just a little bit more expensive but nearly 60-80% more expensive. For example, a packet of fresh herbs at Tesco is RM1.79 and the same thing at Cold Storage is RM2.99. Chicken costs RM6.90/kg at Tesco while RM12.90/kg at Cold Storage.
Today, I popped over at Cold Storage because I wanted to find some pesto sauce from Italy and also the tiny alphabet pasta. There are things that you can find only at Cold Storage such as these. So, my little boy found some chocolates imported from USA in the shapes of eyeballs.
He took the packet to the father and told him, “Mommy say can buy because she want to blog about Halloween.”
So, we got some M&M’s Halloween edition too. The M&M comes in purple, neon green, orange and very dark brown colours.
There are huge pumpkins from the USA that costs RM100+. I wonder how many people can afford them, huh?

Wow, RM100+ for a pumpkin? It’s between US$4-US$7 for the big ones here in the States. Cold Storage must be making tons of money!
