The biggest secret - Pork Lard. That's the original recipe and if one had friends who gets the KK from HK or AUS back, one can taste the difference; and without the secret ingredient, it can't even be left over in the fridge. I would also like to mention... what you get in US is totally different.. the doughnuts literally melt in your mouth!!! I love the originals... and most of the time they were freshly made... so what Oprah said is true... its really really good... the trick is to eat them while they were still hot and fresh! don't get those behind the counter or from the supermarket.
