This news from Malaysiakini caught my attention and makes me wonder.
Malaysia has suspended imports of whole chicken and chicken parts from Thailand with immediate effect following a bird flu scare in the neighbouring country, state media reported.

The malls are decked with Christmas baubles, Christmas wreaths and Christmassy stuffs. Gurney Plaza has a huge tree at the front entrance. I guess all the shopping malls are hoping to get us to spend eventhough there is the evil recession cloud hanging around us.

I have mentioned before that our local fruits are much more interesting than the imported fruits from the temperate countries. Plums, apricots, apples, cherries, grapes, pears and other fruits have almost the same textures and taste.
