I wasn’t too excited about another shopping mall opening until I went to Queensbay Mall. All the big names are there. This means I don’t have to wait for my next visit to Kuala Lumpur to browse Borders or eat Beard Papa’s.

My sons’ secondary school, St. Xavier’s Institution had a Heritage Walk event to raise funds to repair their school. It was held in the evening and we joined the students to trek through the Heritage Trail of Penang.

This is the first time I go to the e-gate. It is the building along the Penang Bridge Road, next to Tesco. Since it has been rainy and cloudy the whole morning, the weather makes the place extra soothing. A nice day to hang out at the side-walk cafes available there.
