Thank God my tiffin days are over!

On the first of July, I catered foods for my family because I was away for a week. I went to Malaysiakini in KL for a week’s advanced training in journalism. My sister-in-law came to my house to help me watch over the kids. Though she cooks, I felt it will be less of a burden to have lunch delivered to our home.

The cost of catering is RM250 per month, no rice included. The dishes is probably enough for two persons and they deliver lunch from Monday to Saturday. Overall, the dishes are not too bad. Initially, I wanted to cater for only one week but they said they have a minimum of one month because the delivery man charges by month.

So, I have been eating catered lunch for the last one month and I am so glad that finally, it is over. Whee! No more washing tiffin, eating boiled vegetables with soya sauce and oil and no more leftovers to deal with. Yeah, the portion is small and yet, none of us want to eat so we have leftovers every day.

Hopefully, when I don’t see those catered foods anymore, I will be inspired to write food posts again. My inspiration has been sapped by boring, catered foods.
